Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

What is EFT?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques and is based on the ancient principles of acupuncture. EFT is a simple tapping procedure that gently realigns the body’s energy system, without the discomfort of needles. It was developed in the mid 1990s in America by Gary Craig and is derived from Thought Field Therapy (TFT) created by Dr Roger Callahan.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is:
·       A gentle, acupressure technique to help you deal with stress easily and effortlessly
·       A very effective method for overcoming fears and eliminating phobias with long lasting effects
·       A powerful way to heal past traumas in your life
·       Easily alleviates anxiety being the source of many cravings and addictions
·       A simple intervention that acts rapidly, often within minutes

EFT addresses the Cause

EFT addresses unresolved emotional issues as a likely cause of physical and emotional ailments, psychological dysfunction, and personal performance limits.
Negative emotional experiences disrupt the energy meridians that run through our body.  The physical changes we feel from those disruptions, like nausea or anxiety, become attached to the memory of that experience and affect the way we see the world…until we heal that disruption.  EFT quickly realigns the energy meridians with respect to negative memories, disconnects the physical discomfort that we attached to it, and most often removes the resulting symptoms.

TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) is related to EFT but requires no tapping this is also available.
